Our Story

Whether it is an unoccupied home that is currently for sale, an empty apartment building unit that is in between tenants or a secondary or vacation home that is only in use during certain times of the year, vacant properties offer an inviting target to vandals and thieves. Even a home that is vacant for a short period of time, such as when the owners are away on vacation, is susceptible to break-ins and burglaries.

In 2008, we emerged in the commercial fire and security market as well. We have since helped our customers retain ultimate control of their access control and video surveillance systems via an online portal as well as smartphone apps. This makes our systems superior to most of the other alarm companies and integrators out there that are stuck in their old ways with systems that provide a level of complication that we have removed for our customers. Our customers and employees are our most important asset. That’s why we affectionately refer to both our customers and employees as family. As a result, our customers stay loyal to us. Executive Team

Mike Proudfit

CEO Mike Proudfit graduated from Brigham Young University with a Business Finance degree in 2001. During college, Mike was involved with many startup businesses and was later offered the CEO position at a fast growing national security company called Firstline Security. In 2008, Mike and his brother, Taylor Proudfit, moved to Arizona and started what is presently Titan Alarm & Fire Inc. When he’s not working, Mike enjoys spending his time teaching early morning seminary, playing pickleball, hiking snowcapped mountains, and traveling with his wife and family.

Taylor Proudfit

COO Taylor Proudfit started working in the security industry in 1999 as an installation technician. Over the course of the next several years he gained the knowledge, experience and expertise necessary to start Titan Alarm with his brother in 2008. With his degree in business management and computer science, he has provided the backbone for the technical expertise and training of the field technicians and customer service team at Titan Alarm. Outside of work, Taylor loves outdoor physical activities with his friends and family like hiking, biking and exercise. He also loves to serve in his church and local community several hours each week.

Tim Harvie

General Manager Tim Harvie is a 20-year veteran in the alarm and fire industry. He started as a technician in 1998 and has since amassed a wealth of experience and knowledge. Joining Titan Alarm & Fire in 2013, Tim brings his passion for innovation and growth to the team. His unwavering commitment is focused on advancing both Titan's and the industry's future. With two decades of expertise, Tim is a driving force in our mission for excellence.
